VR Professional Posestand, HUD & Library a Must Have

It has been a long time since I did the original VR Professional Posestand and HUD movie, there were actually updates since then, that I didn’t update in my posts, so spent the time today to do so.

In picture form this time so it might be a little easier to understand. I hope so.

These pictures are NOT high res, I used screen capture software not the second life photo tools to do this, so ignore the quality of the picture that isn’t what I wanted to show in this post.

Firstly the posestand is self sufficient, you can use its functions without having a hud.

1. Rez stand on floor (Default hands extended pose comes with the stand)

2. Fill posestand with poses/animations

3.Use edit to rename the stand in both the name and description part of edit, the name of the stand and the pose being used will show in hovertext.

There are many things that trigger memories in RL , but in Second life it can be a tad different. Usually it has more to do with an actual item, a name or a location. I remember the first time I ever saw a release from this next creator, and tping over to the location of her store and really liking what I saw.

Fair and Flair ….

For the longest time Ashia has been talking to us about her good friend Steiner, the cute and way too adorable thing is that when he talks to you , he makes sure to include that he is Ashia’s friend, so that we know who he is , I think it’s so lovely and charming.

A Girl like this

Gift Lingerie, New Skins and Lashes to write home about.

Over the years we have seen a definite change in the skin market, nothing compared to the leaps and bounds of the past 18 months. This weekend will be the second annual Skin Fair for Vanity Universe, and over 45 designers from all over SL are taking part. Part of the proceeds from this event will go to Care International.

So the long awaited is finally here, for me it feels a little longer, as one day I beta tested a first skin and then never heard anything else…unfortunately as stated in my last post I have been a tad distracted of late.

I stepped Down …

I logged in today knowing that today was the “Step Up” campaign, as well as Artist’s Voice. I had planned not to blog in support of the day, but realising that the idea of that was censoring me, my voice and it made me actually manic.

I could have locked down my sim for the day, but that wouldn’t effect me because I have to pay the tier either way, but it would effect my tenants and that’s not something I was willing to do. I suggested people don’t log in, but that also means that the place I spend all of my waking time, was actually off limits to me, and sure as hell that would make me even worse.

The thing is that theft in Second Life has effected me so much in the last 8 months, more so than I ever wanted to even admit to myself. I recently left my position at Maitreya because what most people don’t know is that my day to day there was actually spent waiting for, or dealing with theft issues.

Boyd Loving..

Very militarian today, is that a word? Which ended up exactly for me the theme of the night OMG OMG OMG OMG they remade V . You have no idea how excited I am about that, it was my favourite show at it’s time, I have hired the videos so many times and watched them back to back to back.

These two looks would be perfect Visitor looks for that show, and I am so loving both. The Paine Skirt should be renamed to Painless, all I had to do was stretch both sides in edit, and I was done. The pockets on this skirt are adorable, and the shape and texture is stand out quality.

Rude Girl

I have been channeling this week, the other day I totally felt like Whimsy in my sweater post, and tonight like Ashia in my rude girl look, mind you her being in and from the UK it isn’t a far leap. Have to thank her though big time, both of them actually, as they have both given gifts to the What’s New SL group as a launching present, and there are more to come.

Bedazzled …

There are days you pile on as much as you can, and then get all delighted by the ensemble you create. It can be inspiring, and just down right fun. A lot of the time it can even take you out of your ’safety’ bubble you have surrounding you, in what you feel is fashion, or ‘in style’ at the time, sometimes it is just about being able to go outside into the big wide grid, and be a pony prancing vampire of Diva destruction.

Me, Myself and I

Are you going to want to buy out the entire store, I do believe so. Are you going to take your bestest Male friend/partner/lover with you, oh most definitely. I arrived at the store and was instantly drawn to not only its clothing and accessories, but the overall ambiance and flow of the store.
