Lots of Rubbery Goodness

I recently swung by Elixir and noticed that there was lots of New lovelies, as well as a much easier to navigate store layout, the older one was much smaller. I really like the way they have layed it out this time, as well as admiring the new arty pics that show off the items in such a way that vendors sometimes miss out on doing.


This first Dress is the Solid Mini Dress, which is available in a slew of vivid colours and stunning latex shading. The style is sleeveless high collared, and the length is barely there, thank goodness for the addition of some thong panties or there would be all sorts of complications.

The shading or highlighting possibly on this latex is wonderful, especially at the lower front showing that it is as tight as can be and only prayers and possibly spray adesive are keeping it from sliding up the body.

I am wearing with them the fantastic Yoke from VR Foundry that has so many features, that can be used just as decoration/accesory like I am, or more to the way its intended, you can find the features on the vendor pic and info notecard at the store, but it is RL compatible and has the evilest features I have ever come across when it comes to locking.

The hair I have on is the Hayden style from Goldie Locks, a fun fanned out style that has a realy lovely softness to the flex.

The incredible Ballet Boots that I am wearing are in chrome and from WarDoom Shoes, these boots are amazing and look just like brushed steel, WarDoom has a huge assortment of fetish and regular style shoes and boots, my only upset with these boots is the inability to change the laces colours, but I did notice that other versions of boots do have that option, as these are possibly older, I have already had mine for a few months.

These also have lockable features and what not, so read the vendor to see what fun you can possibly have with them…;).

Love love love this dress, this is the Mini Driver dress from Elixir…so aptly named as it looks like the pimped up mini’s, but I also have to giggle because of the actress, seriously what were her parents thinking.

Everything about this dress is hot, the length is sexy, the colour combo and the fantastic latex detailing is gorgeous, but the style and those fabulous shoulder pads, just make it a MUST HAVE!… note well too, the front of the cleavage is actually a prim to give it a pulled off of the body look for more realism. It’s just HOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

The boots I am wearing with it are the Goth buckle boots from J’s buckled fabulousness with laces up the back. The hair is Fab, by name and look, and is from Magika. I really like this style as its so formal looking but can be used casually or for fun as well.

The really cool thingy on the side of this pic is supposed to be a roll of pics, and I didn’t exactly do it as intended but it is so cool and thanks to Zoe Demar for showing the link on one of her Flickr posts…you can find the tutoral and download HERE.

Khorus of Elixir asked me if I do male items on my blog and as some of you know in the past I have morphed, or worn mens items many times as myself…but as Fiachra is also a fan of Elixir Khorus sent him some of the shorts that are new to the range and Fia then went shopping for more, lol.

He is wearing the Mens Undergear shorts with the underpants as well underneath in some pics that show the white straps. These have a great rubberised wetsuit look to their structure and are great for RP situations. He is also wearing the Latex Tshirt in red, the Rubber Biker Gloves in Red and the White Gauntlets, with the black latex tshirt.

His skin is the Male Cheetah skin from Nomine and his hair is from the Good Life and is called Broder.

Last up from Elixir we have the Dark Star set, this set has many options for wear as you can see, and again is more of a wetsuit rubber look which is so well done. I really love the high cut of the black full piece as I am sure many will, and the lightning bolt cut out is neat.

The white portions come in both a bikini look and full piece, if you can call it full lol, and has such a depth to the textures that you would swear they were solid protective wear like dirt bike riders wear.

The hair I am wearing is the Lolita style from Magika, which has adorable bows on the tails, and really as cute as it is supposed to look it definitely has a raunchyness to it also.

The fabulous skin I am wearing is the SUZANA-pale 82 from LionSkins, this make up around the eyes is incredible , I don’t have lashes on in the last pic because of the hair and there really isnt even a need for them with such intense liner and detailing. The body on this skin is superb and if you haven’t done Lion Skins demoing yet you really need to.

What kind of Pette are you?

What kind of Pette are you? well I am hoping that doesn’t really mean something as it was the only title I could think of to play on words.

Salopette is a recent release from Dutch Touch, as are all the items about to be shown. This set mixes some wonderful things together, overall style dress/romper with a divine wool blend plaid. There is something about plaid that always feels cosy. The skirt to this outfit is actually sculpted and easily resized – pretty much if I can do it you can, just remember to click on stretch both sides so you get even stretch, and also hold down shift as you do, keeping it a little more steady.

This great look comes in lovely colours, some earthy tones and some playful ones, such as the pink. The Salopette can be worn with or without the black top that is worn underneath, and the stockings and suspenders are part of the ensemble, very cheeky indeed. I have worn them with the J’s Goth Lace up Bow boots , a great design that has so many options that you end up with four boot looks from one set.

With all the clothing today I am also wearing the NEW London skins from MMSkins by Minnu Palen, the London was teasing everyone, and with many many requests to have it in further beautiful make ups it has finally been released. I really like the four soft tones in Fair, Pale, Light and Sunkissed. Also the make ups are subtle in some cases and more daring in others, the return of the much loved glossy lips with this release has me very happy.

One thing about this skin though is it is very shape orientated, the stomach has muscled detailing for that fit look, not too heavy but definitely there, so make sure you try on the demos in your favourite bikini/lingerie.

The hair today is also all from MMS, the first style was released during hair fair and is the Aradia style, named after Aradia Dielli , the straight across bangs and straight long length of this style makes it either casual or very effective with a more dramatic look.

This is Esther, one of the NEW Releases from Dutch Touch. Three things to adore with this set, first off the jeans, look at those back pockets, I mean HELLOOOOO, they are just too cute, and I particularly like the waistband of these jeans, very well structured. The other two things are the great long shirts with a hint of tummy with the last button being higher than the end. Then lastly the wonderful Knit cami/tanky top, with the lovely buttoned straps, very old school that top is. The Esther set as you can see comes in various colour combo’s. so you can mix and match to your hearts content.

The hair styles are Donatella at the top, a lovely style I can’t help but wear in blonde because of the name, and the Mary Kate that has me in fits, because it is so obvious by the style who it is named after.

More cuteness on the back end comes in the form of the Jeans skirt from the seperates section of the Dutch Touch collection. The shape of the skirt is great and the hearts are just wonderful, but I also really like that worn and frayed look on the hemline, the look that most of your favourite denim eventually gets.

The tops worn with the skirt are also available as seperates, in both sheer and solid options, I am actually wearing both layers of the solid to make sure nothing is visible – yeah yeah Im a pride apparently. It is the short top with long sleeves and its a great mixy matchy option as well , wearing this with your favourite tank underneath would be a great look.

Now look up at my neck for a moment, Faery Sola created the incredible Bone and Silver Engraved choker, bracelet and belt set just recently, I am of course not wearing the belt – which Faery will be stunned by Im sure, but not for not wanting too it just didn’t work with the combo, but I couldn’t go by another day without wearing the chocker, especially after seeing Winter Jefferson wearing the Male Version in the early hours of this morning *waves*. So whether Male or Female get on over to Studio Sidhe the set is just perfect.

The hair I am wearing with this look is Peta from MMS , a stylish do that can easily go cas or formal.

So much so that I have to admit having wished Id saved it for the next pic, but then once I was all dressed I was happy with the choice. The hair is Lisa from MMS the style has soft waves that are created to sit at the back of the shoulders allowing you to show off not only the neckline of the beautiful dress and skin, but to also make the stunning Victoria set by Kess Kreations more visible.

This jewelry is just dazzling and not in the bling way, but purely crafted to add glitz and glamour to your look. Not only do you get the bracelet, necklace and earrings in the set, but in reality so much more when you take into account that each piece is scripted to not only change the metal that frames each gemstone but also a lovely range of gemstones to change, I have chosen pink diamond and emerald.

If you are looking for something special for your loved one this coming holidays, this set deserves a good look, and all items come with demos that are fab fun. While on the topic of Kess Kreations I want to point something out, if you havent seen MetaVirtual yet and you blog either for your own enjoyment or you post new releases for your own business then you really need to join up.

The Sunny dress is a great style and the fabric is amazing, depending on what mood you are in, or the occasion there is a colour to suit, whether it be the white which gives more of a frock feel, or the stunning bronze or rosey that are very rich and would make great cocktail dresses with as shown the right kind of accessories.

Some more of the seperates, I know you saw the white long shirt already from the Esther set, but as it is sold seperately here you can see how versatile it can be, whether again worn with jeans – this time a low waist hip hugging style in the light. Then you have the Long Woolen Cardigans with hoodies in grey and dark grey, shown with the shiny leggings and the stripey pants, lastly the short cardigan with hoodie.

Lots of seperates to see you through this season and well into next. Also check out the Mens section at Dutch Touch as many of the same items can be found in the Male Version.

I have also used this pic to show the tones of the London skin by MMSkins , even though I wore all make ups in the varying tones throughout this gives you a side by side look at them.

The hairstyles are left to right, Venera, Magdalena (group gift), Messy and Kylie. All this beautiful hair with those luscious skins, its DEMO DEMO DEMO time all over the GLAM sim.

Now with all these lovely clothes I have been wearing lovely shoes. I promised the other day that I would show more of the fabulous Coron heels by LUCE.

The textures are fantastic and there are different packs, I decided for the finale to show you one style from each pack, to give you a peak at the possibilities. I know many are going to go WILD for those leopard ones, the silver glitter at the end are just dazzling, and the wood and cork blend of the second pair are fantastic for casual looks, and glossy bubblegum pink, again HELLOOOOO.

I recently discovered Elixir, it came about from seeing one of Mels customers changing into the Latex Raincoat seen here, I had to know where it was from and the next day off I went. Funnily enough that day I didn’t end up with the raincoat but one or two other items, and since then have spoken to both Khorus the Designer of this fantastic Latex, and her partner Elf.

All the latex pieces are superbly crafted, and there is a definite mix of the casual to clubwear with a bit of RP mixed in, so all of your Latex needs if Male or Female are covered. The Latex Raincoat comes in a variety of colours as do all of the latex pieces shown today. Another thing that Elixir does is gives you sheer options, so with things such as pants and tops, there is a few different options of transparency, and you know I’m shy so you will have to just imagine it from the raincoat lol.

At the moment the collar and cuffs are prims, but in the future there will be a sculpted version, personally I like how the prims have been built, especially on the collar, its a great fit and shape and looks wonderful. Now I ended up having to go back to Elixir to find some pieces to wear under this coat, and came back out with the wonderful Latex Hipsters and a Latex Bikini that you will see in full further down.

I am wearing the Newly Retextured Natalia Hair by TRUTH , yes his store has reopened and many styles new and older have been redone in wonderful textures. There is something really powerful about this hairdo , don’t know why exactly but it’s very ‘I am Woman hear me Roar’ Inspiring.

The skin is Isabella by Slink, I had a little down there issue with the pants, so Isabella Skin Sunkissed Makeup 7 tint brow worked out fabulously, so word of warning when going for the Elixir Latex Hipsters, make sure you have a skin that has options. The bikini bottoms fit underneath well though and covered the dipped V at the front of the pants, so there is that option.

Now the funny thing in this, is that I logged in the other day to be told that Fiachra had gone shopping without me, lol he knew he would be in trouble, but it was more to do with what he went shopping for. Regular shopping is fine, but fun stuff like latex well hmph, table was turned on him though, when he ended up pouting because he thought he had ‘discovered’ a store I didn’t yet know about ha ha I win.

Well it turned out good for both of us, he got to be cheeky and I got an extra body for my post. irony too was that he ended up with some similar things. In this pic Fia is wearing the Latex Rubber Window Suit in Zebra.

The latex again is marvelous but WOW on the rubber, its so authentic is seriously seems to rise off the skin and have incredible depth to it. The Zebra stripes across the transparent panel are wonderful too, and as far as I remember as I am not in world right now, there is a female version too. Underneath this set Fiachra has on the Mens latex Pinstripe pants, and again incredible work on getting the pinstripes to not distort across the body.

Fia’s skin is from Nomine and is the Neko Male Cheetah Skin, his Kitty ears (modded) are from The Sweetest Sin, his New and fab hair is from Gritty Kitty and is the Ghost style in Chocolate Tipped, the tips on this style are great ,giving it more of a streaked look than just the ends. His armbands are from Bare Rose and the Petshop boy set.

Now the boots he has on I have on too, but mine are the female version, so slightly different. When needing new boots for these looks, it wasnt hard, Beckenbauer boots came to mind very fast. He has on the Revolver Males and I have on the female Revolver boots, I love the chunky style with the silver soles and metalwork.

Mine ended up allot more dangerous looking though. Those metal spikes at the toe are just fabulously . I am wearing the Rubber Window Set in Red, and again WOW. Fantastic for Roleplay, I was feeling again all powerful. As you can see they look fabulous without pants underneath, I think Fia got shy with the pants and I did with the top so it’s all even. Again the rubber work is fabulous, and I especially like the yellow black tape around the legs, like a big caution to anyone getting in my way.

Feeling in the need for some extra protection, I went with the Ladies Agression straps from Digital Dragon Designs, these are fab fun and come in two pieces, so you can wear either just the hand parts or just the arms. Another newly retextured style from TRUTH is the Jennifer hair, bringing the majority of hair up and out of the way, the new blonde textures I am a bit in lust with. Wearing with the Sunkissed Lionskins 8 from Lion Skins the make up on this skin is uniquely different in the shadow area bringing reds lightly into the mix.

Dressed for a night out , Fiachra is wearing the Male Latex Pinstripe pants, you can see them allot better now and having an underwear layer means they fit perfectly into the Revolver boots. The shirt is the Latex and Mesh Red/Black combo, again incredible detailing and the mesh sits really well on the body. Finishing off the look with his Byzantine Choker Necklace made by him from Essentia. the Mesh shirt if it does come in womens would look really cute with the latex Bikini top underneath also.

Speaking of which, this is the Latex Bikini on its own, and then also worn with the New Latex Slung Mini Skirt in black/red. The bikini is fantastic, I adore the fuller cup style parted in the middle, and the divine string straps on the bottoms that are so well met at the seam line, the ties on the side just finish it off so well.

The Mini Skirt with their front and back panel are just too cute, an array of colours all with contrast trim, these are just too darn cute and Hella Sexy. Clubbing or just lazing by the pool, these will get you lots of attention. The other attention grabber is the Polly Hair from TRUTH, this style has been a hit with me from day one, the style of updo with the extra long length at the back, its stunning for any occasion.

Equally stunning is the Ana Lu style again by Truth, beautiful loose waves and again look at that blonde Yummy. Couldn’t get enough of this skirt, had toget another, is the Latex Slung Skirt but wearing it with the very very very Sexy Latex V Crop Jacket, these jackets are more of the sheer option items, this is like a latex shrug I love it, wearable over other items easily but I opted for it on its own, and can you blame me, wowzers.

The Stunning shoes are a limited edition set that were only at Shoe Fair, crafted by the super talented Onyx and Beauvoir of Maitreya, again unfortunatly you cannot get these now, but many of you I am sure would have bought them during the fair, so look for your Virtue hee hee I couldn’t help myself.

Lastly the LionSkins SUZANA- sunkissed 3 was the skin for this pic and even though its subtle and soft pinks arent what one would usually go for with this much sexy latex, I thought that the contrast was stunning.

Ok this may look like a fashion post, and it kind of is, but it is also wayyyyy more informative. This is Fiachra my very best friend, he is also the owner of Essentia, the creator of my Hair Roses and Jewelry I wear often.

One thing about him is he loves to send me links to things, and one of his favourite places to shop online is Woot, now if you don’t know about Woot it’s one of those sites that does a special of the day, generally electronics and such great prices they are a steal. Well there are also other Woot sites, and one of those he often shows me what he has bought, but we discussed it recently, my mind of course straight away thinking it would be cool if they were in world.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO It’s better than that, omg so much better. You see Woot has a shirt site, and these shirts are made by their own designers etc, BUT BUT BUT they have a weekly Derby where people can submit art work which gets voted on, and the winners art work will get turned into a shirt that is sold on the site.

Ok sounds great right, I mean you’re all so incredibly talented, and I know even more of you are gifted in so many ways other than just clothes making using the Phils Place templates, I have seen creators art work that never actually makes it onto clothes because of the way the mesh would distort the image etc. This would be a chance to show off your talent.

The way it works is that you submit the entry into the Derby, and then it is voted on, now unlike most votey stuff you have to be a customer of Woot, any of their sites though, and the thing is that a Tshirt from their Shirt site is only 10usd free shipping and 15usd internationally for their shirts of the day, if its an older shirt you like add 5usd. Now about what Fiachra is wearing and a big thank you to him for letting me know about this fabulous oppurtunity for many of you.

Fiachra recently went Neko, not that that was a huge leap for him as in the two years I have known him, he has been a Skin (thats what I call me who is without fur ) then a Kirin, then a baby dragon, then a huge dragon, then a skin again , then a Dragonne – which was a custom made avatar mixing a Dragon and a Lion- then a skin again and now a Neko lol.

So on his hunt for a Neko skin he finally found one he was pleased with at Nomine – he is wayyy fussy. The skin is the Neko – male cheetah and its cute I have to admit, especially around the face as that is pretty much all I see anyway. A while back on one of our teleporting adventures I came across some boots that I already owned and realised they had mens versions that were pretty spiff and made him check them out, he really liked them and bought black and brown ones, the store is Zero Number [0N] and the boots are called Engineer Boots Zipper Brown, which he likes so much that he has even bought brown clothing to wear with them – which if you look in his profile is kind of funny.

Last week we went to Dutch Touch and he got the Leather Jacket Brown, which he really likes and does go so well with the boots, but he needed something extra, and not really having allot of brown in his inventory yet I had to take care of that with the Digit Darkes Leather Chaps in Brown/Black, these pants have always been popular with the guys and now that they are on both layers they go great with boots such as these.

Fiachra is all about layers, and the fact that so much is made on partial or all, he likes to push those boundaries, hoping that designers instead of just doing longer shirts on the jacket layer only and then having tucked on the other two , possibly start making the bottoms of the untucked on pants layers so that you can use the underpants layers of pants and stil have that untucked look of a shirt with a jacket on as well – lol that all sounded so technical, but you can see in his pic what he has done.

Also from Dutch Touch is the LongSleeves Top Tucked DarkGrey which is actually being worn under a tank top from Aitui which actually has that pants layer shirt extension look, so as Fia says he has Sandwiched Aitui between his Dutch Touch, lucky Aitui. The tank from Aitui is the Plain Tank Top /Charcoal and his whole look is pretty funky.

His ears the Kitti Ears (Burnt) have been modded from some that I have as well, from The Sweetest Sin, as I have shown in the past the ears come pierced etc, but Fia didnt want all that so removed the extra prims, but really liked the movement and shape of them.

Fia is also wearing a tail he made for himself, and the Byzantine Choker Chain from his own store Essentia, which I also love and wear often.
