STOP, BREATHE… Imprudence will save you.

Like me if you are edit challenged, or tend to grab the wrong thing when trying to delete something not so important, you will hopefully find this MUST GET important. I have mentioned before the fabulous Imprudence Viewer, and even though I myself use the Cool Viewer 98% of the time, today having Imprudence knowledge allowed me not to completely destroy weeks of work.

Many have talked about the wonder that is the worn tab, well for me when blogging I copy paste from properties to a text doc as I wear, so the worn tab for me has made me lazy and forgetful, especially if I forget to get the info and change looks completely, so yeah as much as it is handy it is not the reason I am all for love for Imprudence.

My love first and foremost is about the font lol, I love the font it uses, but aside from that todays saving grace was the Restore to Last Position , yes I kid you not, this viewer has an option when you right click an inventory item – whether in lost and found or anywhere else – that allows you to click on Restore to Last Position and voila it is back where you accidently – because you werent paying enough attention, or you terraformed the land and everything got sent out of world lol, not that I would know anything about that – took it from.

So next time you make such a mistake and you start hyperventilating, STOP, breathe and relog onto Imprudence if you dont use it, or download it and log in and use that option on the item, between  myself and Fiachra we were able to restore 1600 objects in moments, without anyone having to cry or anything.

This is perfect also for people that do not own their own land, as it means you dont have the rollback option etc, but with this you are totally sorted, and for those creators that do very detailed work, I can imagine that this back up would be a blessing.

Thank you to all the people behind Imprudence , for coming up with a function that takes the stress out of being clumsy . Also a big thanks to Fiachra because it is him that stores all the things I tell him about… and throws them back at me when needed, because I cant see the solution through the crazy.

What kind of Pette are you?

What kind of Pette are you? well I am hoping that doesn’t really mean something as it was the only title I could think of to play on words.

Salopette is a recent release from Dutch Touch, as are all the items about to be shown. This set mixes some wonderful things together, overall style dress/romper with a divine wool blend plaid. There is something about plaid that always feels cosy. The skirt to this outfit is actually sculpted and easily resized – pretty much if I can do it you can, just remember to click on stretch both sides so you get even stretch, and also hold down shift as you do, keeping it a little more steady.

This great look comes in lovely colours, some earthy tones and some playful ones, such as the pink. The Salopette can be worn with or without the black top that is worn underneath, and the stockings and suspenders are part of the ensemble, very cheeky indeed. I have worn them with the J’s Goth Lace up Bow boots , a great design that has so many options that you end up with four boot looks from one set.

With all the clothing today I am also wearing the NEW London skins from MMSkins by Minnu Palen, the London was teasing everyone, and with many many requests to have it in further beautiful make ups it has finally been released. I really like the four soft tones in Fair, Pale, Light and Sunkissed. Also the make ups are subtle in some cases and more daring in others, the return of the much loved glossy lips with this release has me very happy.

One thing about this skin though is it is very shape orientated, the stomach has muscled detailing for that fit look, not too heavy but definitely there, so make sure you try on the demos in your favourite bikini/lingerie.

The hair today is also all from MMS, the first style was released during hair fair and is the Aradia style, named after Aradia Dielli , the straight across bangs and straight long length of this style makes it either casual or very effective with a more dramatic look.

This is Esther, one of the NEW Releases from Dutch Touch. Three things to adore with this set, first off the jeans, look at those back pockets, I mean HELLOOOOO, they are just too cute, and I particularly like the waistband of these jeans, very well structured. The other two things are the great long shirts with a hint of tummy with the last button being higher than the end. Then lastly the wonderful Knit cami/tanky top, with the lovely buttoned straps, very old school that top is. The Esther set as you can see comes in various colour combo’s. so you can mix and match to your hearts content.

The hair styles are Donatella at the top, a lovely style I can’t help but wear in blonde because of the name, and the Mary Kate that has me in fits, because it is so obvious by the style who it is named after.

More cuteness on the back end comes in the form of the Jeans skirt from the seperates section of the Dutch Touch collection. The shape of the skirt is great and the hearts are just wonderful, but I also really like that worn and frayed look on the hemline, the look that most of your favourite denim eventually gets.

The tops worn with the skirt are also available as seperates, in both sheer and solid options, I am actually wearing both layers of the solid to make sure nothing is visible – yeah yeah Im a pride apparently. It is the short top with long sleeves and its a great mixy matchy option as well , wearing this with your favourite tank underneath would be a great look.

Now look up at my neck for a moment, Faery Sola created the incredible Bone and Silver Engraved choker, bracelet and belt set just recently, I am of course not wearing the belt – which Faery will be stunned by Im sure, but not for not wanting too it just didn’t work with the combo, but I couldn’t go by another day without wearing the chocker, especially after seeing Winter Jefferson wearing the Male Version in the early hours of this morning *waves*. So whether Male or Female get on over to Studio Sidhe the set is just perfect.

The hair I am wearing with this look is Peta from MMS , a stylish do that can easily go cas or formal.

So much so that I have to admit having wished Id saved it for the next pic, but then once I was all dressed I was happy with the choice. The hair is Lisa from MMS the style has soft waves that are created to sit at the back of the shoulders allowing you to show off not only the neckline of the beautiful dress and skin, but to also make the stunning Victoria set by Kess Kreations more visible.

This jewelry is just dazzling and not in the bling way, but purely crafted to add glitz and glamour to your look. Not only do you get the bracelet, necklace and earrings in the set, but in reality so much more when you take into account that each piece is scripted to not only change the metal that frames each gemstone but also a lovely range of gemstones to change, I have chosen pink diamond and emerald.

If you are looking for something special for your loved one this coming holidays, this set deserves a good look, and all items come with demos that are fab fun. While on the topic of Kess Kreations I want to point something out, if you havent seen MetaVirtual yet and you blog either for your own enjoyment or you post new releases for your own business then you really need to join up.

Kesseret Steeplechase has created the ultimate feed, not only is it in nice little sections , but it is simple to add your stores blog or personal blog and within a day or so you will be added. What I love about this new feed is that depending on what you use as the category/tag to your post, that is the section it will end up in. So with that in mind Fashion posts will be all that will be in the Fashion section, grid info such as interesting places to visit or just your own posts about things to do with the grid as a whole, has its own section and so on, this is going to be a valuable tool for the upcoming year, so get in NOW.

The Sunny dress is a great style and the fabric is amazing, depending on what mood you are in, or the occasion there is a colour to suit, whether it be the white which gives more of a frock feel, or the stunning bronze or rosey that are very rich and would make great cocktail dresses with as shown the right kind of accessories.

Some more of the seperates, I know you saw the white long shirt already from the Esther set, but as it is sold seperately here you can see how versatile it can be, whether again worn with jeans – this time a low waist hip hugging style in the light. Then you have the Long Woolen Cardigans with hoodies in grey and dark grey, shown with the shiny leggings and the stripey pants, lastly the short cardigan with hoodie.

Lots of seperates to see you through this season and well into next. Also check out the Mens section at Dutch Touch as many of the same items can be found in the Male Version.

I have also used this pic to show the tones of the London skin by MMSkins , even though I wore all make ups in the varying tones throughout this gives you a side by side look at them.

The hairstyles are left to right, Venera, Magdalena (group gift), Messy and Kylie. All this beautiful hair with those luscious skins, its DEMO DEMO DEMO time all over the GLAM sim.

Now with all these lovely clothes I have been wearing lovely shoes. I promised the other day that I would show more of the fabulous Coron heels by LUCE.

The textures are fantastic and there are different packs, I decided for the finale to show you one style from each pack, to give you a peak at the possibilities. I know many are going to go WILD for those leopard ones, the silver glitter at the end are just dazzling, and the wood and cork blend of the second pair are fantastic for casual looks, and glossy bubblegum pink, again HELLOOOOO.

I swear if I don’t get the Dear Prudence song out of my head, I might just go mad. But on that note might I suggest you all take a whirl around the newish viewer called Imprudence HERE . It has all sorts of bells and whistles, some fab building changes, and my favourite Offer Teleport Button right in your IM – how much do we all need that YAY.

The maybe bad, maybe good thing about it, is that at the moment it doesn’t have voice options, so if you use voice a lot , then you will need to switch back and forth, if you don’t or you want a reason to not use it – lol – there’s another reason to get it.

Ok so on with todays post. I shop lots and lots, and often I have every intention of blogging an item or the ten or so I purchase in one store, but find that lately those items don’t come out to play as much. The reason for that lately is that I used to put EVERYTHING in my to blog folder, and that can be very overwhelming, some items are still there, but lately I have had to take charge and put them where they are going to live permanently.

Paradisis is in two places because of this and now that todays pics are done, they are finally all in one YAY. I came across one of their satelite stores in one of our regular jump all over the grid days; that Fia and myself do often. I fell for both the edgy looks and the girly girl pieces and bought a few sets, then a few weeks later decided to hunt down the main store – Usually I try and do that straight away, often finding so many more delights than at the satelite, and not buying in them at all but at the main, but trust me those little places do bring in the business.

This is the first item I bought, and can you blame me. This is Doll and it is as pretty as one. Such a soft delightful pink with a beautiful sheer babydoll ruffle and bow. For those girly girls like me, this set would be beneficial, because if you love pink then I see absolutely no reason you couldn’t wear the top as just that, underwear as outerwear is very captivating if done in the right way, plus there are tanks like this in RL and here as regular wear. The shine to the fabric is just lovely and you do get the tiny tiny thong panties and the sheer white stockings with the set.

Yesterday I was in a shopping frenzy with Newdoll, first thing when I get on and I went into hyperdrive, but the best thing was finding new to me places and buying things that I had seen in the past in some and giving them a new look see. One such place was Hiccup, I have to admit that in the past I had not given Hiccup hair the real attention it deserves, because I know I have seen it before, but possibly the hair I purchased yesterday is newer than then.

Regardless of the reasons I am smitten. This first style is Amelieish, the bangs the length and shape, it all works to give a vintage look that I so cherish.

The skin I am wearing is more of the Pulse Blessed range, finally getting through all those incredible make ups. These if you remember are the range that give you the three options of skin look, Beached, Natural and Radiance. Giving you an all over look dependant on your needs at the time. This is the Kiss Me Make Up in the Radiance option with black brows, thats another thing about Blessed is you get all brow colours with the skin choice.

Now with the pants, called Teasing in the bleached black, I do have to admit I was given these as Fia saw them first. I know I didn’t show all the way down, but as the main feature is of course around the somewhat middle, I decided a close up was in order.

Whether you want to show off your undies, or you just want everyone to know you have skin on that offers shaved as an option then so be it – I am thinking of making these my other skin test pants but I have just the right panties for that one lol.

The Calor top is a little longer than the cropped jacket from Hot Stuff, which means you could always wear it underneath for a little extra covering. I really like the texture in this top, it has a real stretch velvet kind of look to it, which I am assuming would make people just want to cuddle you lots and lots, that and the fact your jeans are already open *gigglefits*.

Ok now this skins name had me confused, it is called Feed Me, I IM’d Lorac the designer behind the Pulse brand and asked her why such a name, once she told me I had to laugh. What it boils down to is this, it’s an ego booster name, based on the idea that when you know you look hot, and you know that others know you look hot, they better damn well tell you, LMAO.

The hair is from House of Heart and is called Callie, the style is wild and full and decorated with intricate weaves of silver thread, this would make a perfect style for the upcoming Holiday Season festiviities, but also a wonderful RP hairdo.

Looky looky prim cuffs , I didn’t say Paradisis didn’t do them, just not in the items so far shown. This is Mischievous, I have a thing for overalls and this set tickled that thing. I think this posibly comes in other colours, I am not totally sure but the next one did, so it just might. I do really like the black though, more of a charcoal than black black and the shading again is fantastic.

The great thing about overalls, is that you can usually wear them as seperate pants also, as is the case with this set. Also whether hidden by the bib or out there on its own, you get to show you are by name and nature exactly that, Mischievous. The tank again with a flattering neckline allows the ability to show off another lovely set from Primagine, this time the Silver Curlz set of Jewelry.

The hair in this pic had me in fits at the little Hiccup Boathouse store, it is called Dungeons and Dragons and the vendor pic model had nerdy glasses on and its just such a hoot. It looks like the perfect plain jane at the front with the flipped up sides , but then the back is a great short style, Fia called it the female Mullet, business at the front, party at the back.

The shoes I am wearing -Which I will show in more depth soon – are the Coron Snake A shoes from LUCE . These shoes were the perfect platform height and sivery grey shades for the pants. The textures and combinations of textures in the LUCE Shoes range are very dramatic and beautifully done. As I said I will show these in more detail in the future .

Pulse Blessed Purrrr is this skin and I wear this one often, I like the softness it has in the make up and the tone is just lovely, I am a big fan of the Pulse lips and the newer releases are stunning, those will be coming soon to the blog also.

Lastly and on a been back a few times since, visits to Paradisis I came across the Mischievous Dressie , that I snapped up in the grey and the black and just a word of warning, this overall dress doesn’t come with a shirt and it doesnt come with panties or even glitch pants that cover up, this style is made in the fabulous Pantie Less way of using the band only of the template and leaving the rest alone, so do not do as I did and wear folder in the store *blushes* the top part I realised first because there was only one, but the pants part I didnt realise until i cammed downstairs and back up and got a shock.

Don’t get me wrong i am a HUGE fan of the Pantieless dress/skirt look, but I love it to be able to wear some of the wonderful underpants we have in our inventories. With the top underneath for this pic, I went with the Lavish Style Poeme top in grey, this is another item that has been around for a while, and its just cute.

Also cute is the recent release hair from BP* BettiePage Voyager is a real sweetheart , during hair fair I got to speak to her a few times and she just exudes joy. So does this hair, Newdoll was talking about a trip to BP* and I asked if she had gotten the Big Bomb Hair – I think everyone needs it – so when I met up with Newdoll the next day she had one this and we had to make it one of our trips so I could get it, one thing I really like with BP* Hair is the bangs, and this style the Autumn Loose Braid is just a mix of my bang love and all the whispy and lose tendrils of hair love.

feeling the need for some socks with this look , I went searching and found the Dark Grey Knit Socks from SySy Designs, these I have had for yonks and they come in a pack of many colours. They remind me of mens business socks but longer and sexier . The MaryJanes called Marie are from Tesla they come in a two tone look and are just gorgeous MaryJanes , the two tone works really well with this blend of monochrome tones.

Blessed Stunned is the last skin to show by Pulse, again divine lips and a really character based face, make sure you try on all the DEMOS.

XXX Fetish

Feri Beckenbauer likes making things with lots of prims, it’s kind of his thing. One thing he loves making is armor sets, so when he sent me a special delivery awhile back and it wasn’t boots, that’s what I expected it to be.

I was mistaken, this set is far from armor, mind you there are parts of it that would definitely keep enemies at arms length.

The XXXFetish set from Beckenbauer Productions is primtacular, and before you pout, there is a Male version too. Now I have to point out – and if I had been wearing them it would be a pun – that I am wearing a top from a different store in this pic. The top is from the Fatality set by Paradisis,a great top that worked really well with the theme of this look, the top also comes in striped and sheer, so you could be more daring than I was.

The reason that I am wearing the top, well the XXXFetish set is ALL Prim, yah no clothing layers at all, and the only covering in the breast area is two very sharp and pointed pasties, they are very very scary looking, in the good scary way, not the bad .

The collar, armbands and the waist corset style belted straps all have the very detailed spikes, and they are all so brilliantly crafted. My favourite parts are of course the full skirt and corset straps, the ability to try very different looks with this are endless, and the heavy fall of the fabric on the skirt is wonderful, I really cant wait to look at the guys set too.

Rather than going the fetish way with todays look, I went more of a Vamp style, with the Celeste Mono Skin with Crimson make up from Adam n Eve, this is just a recent release for Adam n Eve, but an adaption of an older skin, which is really nice, the revisiting of older products with a fresher outlook.

The hair is new to me, but the store isn’t. The Stringer Mausoleum has such wild hair, and even though I did buy another style, this one was definitely perfect once put together with the set, it’s called KYPHOTIC and for some eerie reason it reminds me of the hair in one of the many Dracula films but his is white, and I wish I knew which film, but I’m freaking myself out trying to remember.

The eyes are from Treasured Visions, they are a great blend of grey, and large enough to be entrancing…cutely named PC101:Pet Rock lol. When I went to take the close up pic, I felt like I needed fangs, but I was a bit eh about that, I did tp to get some and once I didn’t see them immediately ; decided that was fate for me to turn back and go another way, that way being the Lip Piercing from Dark Eden.

Now I definitely recommend clicking on the pic and having a look at the original size on flickr, the Dramatic Lashes curly feather lil stars by PanJen are remarkable, and so many times I have gone to wear one of the brilliant dramatic sets but have ended up wearing other things that didn’t work, this does, so YAY. They were really easy to edit to fit, and I just adore how these ones look with this skin and hair.

The pictures are just part of the post, the main part is the Movie HERE , and believe me it was not only exciting to film but even more so to share. It started with a present to me from Newdoll Nikolaidis, you may know of her Flickr work HERE or her New Blog HERE. I haven’t even shown that gift in the pics or movie, as it’s so incredible that I want you to see for yourself in person.

The items that I am refering to are all created by Onakagoo Epin of 109 Prims, this is not just a store, it’s an experience. I have always admired the whole Steam Punk look, the items that have been created in world, and just pics I have seen on the net. To me Steam Punk is the perfect collaboration of recycling and creativity. I was pining over some outfits I saw on google and that led me to try and recreate that look with pieces I already owned.

This came about easier than I thought. The first outfit is a total mish mash and I am over the moon with the outcome. It started with the Dark Brocade underbust corset from Trilobiteware, the whole Trilobiteware experience was also a fun one I had to share, and funnily enough that happened with Newdoll also. I went there with Mel looking for some latex that we had seen elsewhere, to find in the last moments of the visit the most addictive shopping experience.

I bought a few of the Latex catsuits, to then find this magical machine that the designer had made herself that is a Lucky Dip vendor, I kid you not, this thing is amazing. I realised that the items in the vendor were the ones I had just purchased style wise, but at a reduced cost, due to the Lucky Dip not getting a say in what colour you get concept.

So as the catsuits were already inexpensive to start with, and now even cheaper, I took a gamble. The items were also no copy, so even if I got one I had already purchased I could gift it. But no, I got totally different colours, ALL SIX TIMES lol yes I was hooked. Now there was another vendor below, and I did glance at it, but as I have many corsets already and we were going somewhere else I refrained.

A few days later I was talking to Newdoll and she mentioned Latex and I got all excited and wanted to share my find. So she took a go at it too and was hooked as well lol, seriously its incredibly addictive, now while there she mentioned the corsets, and foolishly I had never actually looked at the price last time, but WOW 25L each, so again I was of the thought, that if I didn’t like it I could gift it…Blushes, TWENTY THREE, I kid you not, I walked out of there with 23 Corsets that I will cherish, and NOT one repeat, this script we think knows what you already have in that timeframe, that’s an assumption though, because between me and my 23 and Newdoll and her collection – I don’t know how many she left with lol – I didn’t get the same thing once, and both of us I believe only got one the same twice. (edit- Newdoll got a few repeats but was happy to gift them )

This is a sensational way to shop and I would love that scripted Lucky Dip in every store lol, because it’s a real high. If you already know the quality etc, and you are one of those people that can never decide on what colours, this is a great way to do it. Especially if the item is cheaper than on the wall.

So this is just one of them you are seeing today and so beautiful and richly textured, underneath that I have the Essential Wrap Sweater by CKS Designs, usually worn very differently I just really liked the plunge on the neckline when placed underneath the corset. I will be showing these in more detail in the future, but the style and the texture worked for this look.

To break up the long expanse of skin between neck and cleavage, I went digging into my inventory and pulled out the necktie with cameo from the Steam Rocket Ride set from Bare Rose, for this piece alone I would gladly pay what you get charged for this wonderful set which I have blogged in the past, I also tinted it a dark charcoal to mix in well, deselecting the cameo so that it stayed as intended.

Speaking of tinting I found a glorious use for the Determined coat train from Digit Darkes for this look, I wore the charcoal and tinted it a little darker – as it’s mod copy that was easy to do. I liked the idea that it looks like the corset is cinching in the long coat, even though I am not wearing the upper part of the coat at all.

Adding some Button pants from old GLAM – I don’t think these are available anymore, but worth checking the VG Republic or whatever it’s called since aliens took over, there are many types of pants similar to this around, so just find your favourite, I have always been a fan of the double button look in coats and pants, and it fits in perfectly with the Steam Punk style.

For the shoes I went with the Athena boots from Tesla, not really visible in the pic, but you can see them in an old post HERE , they are an open toed victorian style boot, so again very fitting. Also fitting because I ended up taking Tesla to the store featured in the movie earlier today, so she also has experienced the 109 Prims fascination, and we ran into Kriss Lehmann of Botanical Straylight, and as I asked if we would be able to wear such things at that location, it was a wonderful place to shoot the film.

The hair atop my head is the Thursday Hat/hair from Gritty Kitty, with its ability to change colours of not only the hat , but also the feathers, it was a great way to colour coordinate with the whole ensemble.

The next look as you will see in the movie HERE – in case you missed the first link – is very appropriate. The Cut bodysuit is from Refuge and is just lovely to wear with other items of clothing, or to adorn yourself as I have done, with all sorts of accessories.

Wearing also the arm and leg pieces from Dark Eden‘s Rust Shaman set, also Steam Punk in concept with its use of gears and cogs and scrap metal, my favourite parts of this set would have to be the leg parts and the hand wraps, as well as the Jewelry which you can purchase seperately. The wings are from the Messenger of Light set from Bare Rose and that is also actually featured in the same post I did on the Steam Rocket Ride.

There are two styles of hair from Discord Designs in this movie, this one is Laetitia. Now you might remember my oooo’s and aaaaaaaaaaa’s about the Jordan style released at Hair Fair HERE, that had me totally in awe of the braids style, well the lovely Salt of The Adventures of Salt n Peppa Blog, did a post recently that had me rushing over to get more. Taylor is the style worn in the other scene in the film, in which I am wearing it in red, and this one is a more pulled back style in the same theme with braids flowing down the back.

I recently told Efe that when I was younger but into my 20′s I used to do that with my hair, not full braids but lots of small thick plaits which I then added crazy vintage hair ties to, ones with sailboats, and toy soldiers, I was a bit crazy like that, it was only painful if you spun around really fast, those soldiers packed a mean punch. So when I saw Taylor I was so overjoyed to be able to recreate that look part of the way – I wonder who I can get to make me the soldiers .

All of the skins in this post, and the movie are the captivating Miyu Skins by SLink. Miyu is an asian inspired skin but with the variety of shapes we all have, it will look different on you , so Demo Demo Demo. The makeups are superb, with beautiful lips and high cheekbone shading. As usual the body of the skin is a delight, you will want to try them and all the other SLink skins while you are there, to see the various differences each one has.

I really hope you enjoy the movie, everything in 109 Prims has DEMO’s which is magnificent, so you can really get a feel for, and see each wonderful constructed piece up close and personal before purchase. Other than that , spend some time at the store itself there is a ballroom and wonderful areas to just chill. The whole place reminds me of Edward Scissorhands for some reason, this is definitely something you need to see, and when you get there, find the carriage, that was my glorious gift from Newdoll ♥ and I cherish it and I hope you will too.

Also take time to revisit or for the first time visit the beautiful Botanical at Straylight, it is a sim that just keeps adding dimension for me every time I visit, there are so many nooks and crannies and hidden delights, and you can meet some really nice people there, I met one today, a new resident called Jbizzle *waves*.

I went to a store last week that actually shared space with another, I was really taken by the vendors on display. I really like when people go all out to show off their wares and this store does that really well in my opinion. I also couldn’t resist this Cheetah Print Bikini, there were other fabulous prints as well, but this one just called to me. I really love the style of top, that you could easily wear with dress pants and make an outfit of it.

The bottoms are actually a thong, but more of a T back than anything, coming straight down from the wide straps. I wanted some new hair today, was just feeling in that mood, so went and grabbed the Pulu style as it just seemed perfect for the bikini and the rich chocolate brown texture was just the mood I was in.

I am wearing the beautiful Blessed Purr skin with the black brows option and the Beached look, I love this as I have mentioned before, the ability to look as though you are outdoors and sunning with the beach look is just great. The make up on this is lovely too and again that mouth YUM!!.

I thought I would take the VR HUD Library out for another spin, practice makes betterer and all that lol, loaded up with some Long Awkward Pose poses.
