Pom Pom

While I write this Marni Grut is getting ready for her opening of Royal Blue, a reopening actually, as she has been spending time upping her craft to make a bigger and better brand. Marni just loves it when I get in her IM, it always means extra work lol. Today was no exception but well worth it for all, as the new coats she is releasing now have a with spikes and shoulderpads option, and a without, meaning when you aren’t so GaGa you can do your own thing.

Bomb Diggity

I am listening to The Veronica’s and at my age, having been such a die hard Archie Comic fan, I cannot help but always question the name. It happens all the time, same if someone called themselves The Betty’s I would wonder what kind of women they believe themselves to be. Overthinking it all I am so sure, but until there is a jugheads to laugh at, this is what I will continue to do.

It is funny though don’t you think, how much of our childhood ends up being what melts our brains as adults. I remember once having a screaming row with an ex flatmate about golden books, because she was being taught at some childcare school, that they were bad for children, and yet, we were raised on them fine. There are also these weird so called ‘complex’s’ or maybe I am wrong with the label, but something to do with Cinderella, and how women always want to live happily ever after, but because you never know, what actually happened it has effected how women go on with relationships as adults – is your brain melting yet ? – seriously though I remember seeing in the last few years that they did a Cinderella TWO and I went OMG what will all the shrinks blame stuff on now?

So yesterday Whimsy was probing my flickr and blog, looking for a skirt we both have, she couldn’t remember the name of it, and she decided that while she was there, she would leave random comments. So today when checking my flickr I came across one and thought damn I love that skin. Mind you I saw that about nearly every skin you ever see me in, and I do, I cannot help it, I either love it on myself and cannot help but cam on me all day while wearing it – you know you do that too – or else I love what the skin is, as a whole, not just on me, but the whole concept of it. There are even skins that don’t look great on me that I love.

Park your Particle

So the other week I was standind around and Fiachra tp’d in looking all dolled up, which for a boy just means new clothes. So he told me that he had found a new to him store that he thought I would like, and sent me the LM. Of course I didn’t have a chance to go visit until today he asked if I had, and off we went. Now the store is mainly catering to femme boys, and that rocks in and by itself. You will definitely find some unisexy or even girly girl gear there, and make sure you check out the tote bags, because one is just sparkly must have.

Level Up

Today we had a visit from Meko, if you don’t know him, he is the adorable Pink Fox cubbie that created my Sasypants website format. He is incredibly talented, and we have missed him so much. He went and got a job part time while studying and is actually doing what he did for me for a job, which is just fantastic and we are so proud of him. So while he was here, Whimsy of course wanted to dress him up, and get him some new hair.

Death

There is a project going on at the moment, a collaberation between a dozen or so different designers, all at Potters Field. Now the idea of the theme, and location is although morbid, quite dynamic all at the same time. I got these great clothes that can be used as seperates… and what is not to love with that hat.

Ain’t no Shoe Pony

So last night Whimsy and I were out and about doing our thing, when we decided that we were going to pick one store, and use the same item in a post. We got so excited that we even went to the store and ran around falling in love with everything all over again. Whimsy fell in love with the displays in the store, and they were/are adorable, but I was so overly impressed by the whole new and improved build – as I had not yet seen it, and it is lovely.

There be dragons

I was having a ball running around the grid today with Mel and Whimsy. Mel decided to embarass me in open chat because he kind of forgot that there were people under us, lol. Now I am standing in a cave with two fabulous women as they discuss the new breedable Dragons that just opened Beta at Precious Dragons – I wonder if they eat bunnies?
