So the other day I was taking the pics of this stunning new dress, and I did the silliest thing ever. I was so smitten by my skin that I completely zoned out on the fact I shouldn’t have been taking pics of it at all. I actually got all the way to the credits part and realised at the last moment *Face Palms.

EleganceI miss the days when we used to wear a gown at least once a week in Second Life, where did those events go? did people get busier or leave? I know that we often talk about those days gone by, and I do know that people do still go out dancing and on dates in Second Life, and thankfully because of that we still get creators making such beautiful items for us to wear and enjoy.

The first thing he said (Mel) was ” You’re playing golf in heels?” my response was ‘Of course’ I mean seriously how else would one play golf? I recently went to the ModivaFashion show and wanted to rip this first outfit right off the model, I even said so out loud.

For the Boys

I was so excited to be able to blog the pieces that I have on today, but it wasn’t until I was up on my VR Studio stand that I realised what it was that made me so fond of the pieces as a whole. If you have never seen the movie For the Boys starring Bette Midler and James Caan you have done yourself a disservice. Not only is it incredibly music and comedy, but an emotional ride over many decades. I myself have seen it probably half a dozen times, and wish now I had a copy on hand, because I would enjoy a good sunday sobfest.

When I was little I wanted to be Ann Margaret, I also wanted to be Doris Day, Sophia Loren and most of all Gidget. To be honest, I think I wanted to be all the women of the silver screen, at one time – until I read a book by her housekeeper – I even wanted to be Marilyn Monroe, seriously that book ruined that, I have never been able to enjoy her since reading that book * McSadface. There is just some stuff you should never know about your heroes.
